Комбинат находится в Украине.

 

Chief Operations Manager

Location: Ukraine

 

Description

 

Our client is the Ukrainian subsidiary the world leader in mineral-based specialty solutions for industry.The incumbent will be locally responsible for the overall operational management of mining (extraction of clays) and processing (plant) of Chamottes within the various economic and administrative constraints and by complying with the environmental, health, safety and labour regulations pertaining to the local Mining Industry.

 

 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•Ensure environment, health and safety compliance with laws as well as with all the Imerys Group regulations, including all mandatory Code of Practices, risk assessment programmes, occupational hygiene programmes and any other programmes required to ensure effective environmental, health and safety management

•Ensure that all applicable statutory requirements are met in terms of labour

•In charge of the scheduling of production according to the market demand

•Set up and maintain processes to optimise yield, throughput and availability

•Continuously adapt workforce to operational requirements and negotiate with sub-contractors to ensure optimum ROCE

•Recruit, train, mentor, discipline and motivate workforce when appropriate

•Define major investment opportunities to improve yield and efficiency

•Support BU new product development as far as the Production and Process is concerned

•Ensure the sustainability of the mine operation by ensuring mining exploration are continued to identify ore deposits, wastes and residue deposition areas are identified and prepared, adapting to product changes and requirements in the market

•Ensure, on a daily basis, the cost control of all operations comply with approved cost budgets

•Responsible to submit to the General Management Team

•implementation and management of an annual exploration and mining plan

•capital and operational cost budget

•staffing and training requirements

•product production plans

•rehabilitation plans and as per the approved Environmental Management Programme

•Ensure proper maintenance are carried out to minimize downtime and maximise working efficiency of equipment and processes

•Take part in the continuous improvement actions of the company in terms of quality, services and processes

•Ensure quality and consistency of company products and proper application of ISO procedures.

•Support BU new product development as far as the Production and Process is concerned

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

 

•Diploma in Production/Operations and mining Management or Engineering

•At least 5yrs years experience in production, preferably metallurgical, environment with multiple operational functions (Production, Industrial Relations, Maintenance/Engineering). Exposure to mining would be a real plus

•Knowledge of Finance and Costing key elements

•Good leadership and managerial skills required, especially with regards to assertiveness, decision-making and problem-solving skills

•Able to work under pressure and to deadlines

•Team player, with good interpersonal skills at any level

•English and Russian mandatory. If not native, proficiency in Ukrainian / Russian language.
